Career Highlights
BOLA OLADIMEJI
Founder, Principal Adviser
Bola Oladimeji is a qualified solicitor, former Chief Executive and Group General Counsel with twenty years' experience across regulated sectors including insurance, construction, housing and professional services. She founded Proteuo Consultancy Limited to bring board-level governance, legal and strategic advice to organisations that need senior executive perspective without the cost or distance of a large firm.
Most recently, Bola served as Chief Executive of The Wren Insurance Association, an FCA and PRA-regulated mutual insurer serving approximately 20% of UK architectural practices, where she led the organisation through heightened regulatory scrutiny and market volatility. Before Wren, she was Group General Counsel and Acting Company Secretary at United Living Group, a c.£450m PE-backed national construction, infrastructure and property services group, where she built the in-house legal and governance function from the ground up. Earlier legal roles include Ramboll UK, where she led the post-UK Bribery Act anti-bribery compliance framework, and SJ Berwin LLP.
Alongside executive roles she has developed a governance and board portfolio. She joined the Board of the Engineering Council in March 2026, is an incoming member of the Law Society Council representing Women Solicitors, and is Strategic Adviser to The Place of Grace. Earlier board-facing roles include the Development and Assets Committee of YMCA St Paul's Group and a Trusteeship of a financial literacy charity.
